Christmas in Utah, 2005
There were sunny blue skies outside, and I love the view from my sister's window: a train station and a silo. It was 45-50 degrees - unusually warm for this area. Even my mom was wearing a T-shirt!
Here is Fiamma, the Christmas Puppy. (Click on the photo for a close up. He's cu-ute.)
Along with many other things, we ate quiche and fondue (with a side of little smokies!). It was all very tasty.
Here is the great Salt Lake from the airplane window on my way home. The lake has very high salinity because something like 4 rivers feed into it but it has no outlet to the sea. I like the strange colors and the rocky dinosaur-spine islands and the giant salt strings.
